1. What is MinerSummit 2019?
– A crypto mining conference exclusive to leaders in the industry. The event will bring together the top figures in mining for insightful discussion, keynotes, networking, and more.
Invited attendees will be limited to 300.
2. Date and Location
– The main conference will take place on the 12th of October 2019 in Chengdu. Chengdu is located in the Sichuan province of China.
3. Who is the organizer ?
– MinerSummit 2019 is organized by leading mining publication MinerUpdate. MinerUpdate was established in early 2019 but has grown to become a reliable source of news and analysis for leaders in the mining industry. You can find the website at MinerUpdate.com.
4. What to expect at the conference?
– The first day of the conference will consist of keynote presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. The second day of the conference, exclusive to premium sponsors and invited guests, will consist of private meetings and an optional visit to a mining farm.
5. Anything else exciting about the conference?
– We are lining up exciting events with partners and sponsors for the conference week, 12th-15th October (TBD). These events include but are not limited to:

6. Do you sell tickets for the conference?
– MinerSummit is exclusive to invited guests and sponsors only.
7. How can I get invited to MinerSummit?
– The easiest way to get a ticket to the conference is to become a sponsor. Other attendee tickets are limited to only 300. If you don’t wish to be a sponsor, feel free to reach out and apply for a ticket to the conference through the Contact Us form.

8. Who can sponsor the conference?
– We prioritize companies in the mining industry, but we welcome those linked to the wider cryptocurrency ecosystem to also apply for sponsorship. Examples of potential sponsors in the mining industry include mining pools, hardware manufacturers, software development companies, cloud mining providers, mining solution services, and proof-of-work projects. Companies not directly in mining include wallets, exchanges, and research companies.
9. Can I speak at the conference?
– We offer speaking slots to sponsors and industry leaders. Feel free to reach out and apply for speaking slots.
10. Why is the conference in Chengdu, Sichuan?
– Sichuan is a vibrant hub of mining activity. CoinShares estimates that 50% of global mining takes place in this region. Miners are attracted to the region during the rainy season, where they can access low electricity rates due to an excess of hydropower energy.
11. Why only 300 attendees?
– Limiting the conference to only 300 invited attendees maximises the value for both sponsors and invited guests. Both sponsors and attendees can be assured that they will have the opportunity to network with the leading figures in their field.
12. Will the conference be coordinated in English?
– The conference will be entirely coordinated in English. Chinese translation will be provided.
13. Do I need a visa to visit China?
– Please check with your embassy to find out specific visa information. Chengdu allows 144-hour transit visas for certain nationalities. Check your eligibility here.

– Attendees can arrive in Chengdu via the city’s only airport, Shuangliu Airport.
